The Conservation and Enforcement Measures incorporates all NAFO measures presently in force as adopted by Fisheries Commission in accordance with provisions of Articles XI, XII, and XXIII of the Convention on Future Multilateral Cooperation in the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries. Every year the NAFO CEM is revised by the Fisheries Commission. The current document incorporates amendments for 2013 which were adopted at the 34th Annual Meeting in September 2012. These Measures shall, unless otherwise provided, apply to all fishing vessels used or intended for use for the purposes of commercial fishing activities conducted on fisheries resources in the Regulatory Area as defined in Article 1 of the NAFO Convention.
